As previously announced, UTokyo Zoom will transition to a new licensing model on Saturday, August 1, 2026. We have been informed that system maintenance is required to support this transition. This maintenance will affect all users of UTokyo Zoom service licensed by the University. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. The maintenance schedule and its expected impact are outlined below.
Date and Time
Starting at 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2026
Impact
There will be no outage that completely disconnects all communications. However, connection instability may occur for approximately two to three hours while the maintenance work is being carried out. If you would like to avoid potential disruptions, please consider using alternative communication tools such as Webex, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams during this period.
In addition, the migration of UTokyo Zoom content data, including recordings and transcripts, is expected to take several days after July 25, 2026. Although these resources will remain available throughout the migration process, access may occasionally be unstable. If you experience such issues, please try accessing the content again later. Please note that the URLs where Zoom content data is stored will not change as a result of this migration.
The latest information regarding this maintenance will be provided on this page. We encourage you to check this page periodically for updates.
